The monument to the first teacher in Armavir was erected in front of the state pedagogical University on October 28, 2008. It is a symbol of respect for the noble profession of citizens – teacher. On a low granite pedestal there are three bronze sculptures - a teacher with a school magazine in her hands and two children (a boy and a girl). Bronze teacher became the first sculpture, but it will be followed by other compositions. The kids look very touching against the background of their first mentor. The monument of the first teacher was brought from Belarus by Viktor Kolodyazhny. On the sign you can read: "The best way to knowledge is sincere love for the teacher."
